Each year, Independence for the Blind organizes events designed to raise awareness of issues facing the blind and visually impaired population, while raising funds for our programs.
The Eye Ball
An evening of fun, fine dining, dancing, and live and silent auctions with of goal of raising funds for IB West’s programs. The Eye Ball is held in March every year. A list of sponsors can be found on the links below:
2011 Angels on the Beach Getaway
Ticket drawing for a Blue Angels Weekend Getaway-a three-night stay at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front during the weekend of the Blue Angels show. Please contact us at 477-2663 for more information or ticket sales.
White Cane Awareness Day
A day of celebration held in October each year, with clients, staff, board members, and volunteers to spread awareness of the blind and visually impaired community and the importance of the white cane.
