Glenn Barbee

Glenn Barbee is currently serving as President of the Board for Independence for the Blind on which he has served over 12 years.  He is a retired Postmaster of Pensacola. He has been active in several organizations including currently serving as Secretary of the Pensacola Lion's Club (a Melvin Jones Fellow); Member of the Pensacola Heritage Foundation; The Navy League; and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

 Mr. Barbee is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, BS 1966 and Central Oklahoma State University. MBA 1976 (Magna Cum Laude), Executive Programs at the Fuqua School of Business Duke University and The Executive Program at University of Virginia. Glenn served as a Captain in the US Army during the Viet Nam period. Has taught Junior High Math, and moved several times in progressively responsible jobs with the U. S. Postal Service.

Glenn and his wife Sharon, have three daughters, and four grandchildren.
