Wachovia donates $2,000 for assistive technology

         Martin Small and Alan Nickelson of Wachovia recently delivered a $2,000 check to Independence for the Blind of West Florida (IB West) in support of Clear Vision for the Future.  The money will be used to purchase equipment for IB West’s computer lab. Clear Vision for the Future is a project that will work to improve employment opportunities for blind and visually impaired individuals through assistive technology education.

Independence for the Blind is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, funded in part by the Florida Department of Education, Division of Blind Services, and provides rehabilitation training to blind and visually impaired individuals of all ages free of charge through ten counties in Northwest Florida.  For more information about Independence for the Blind and how you can help them serve the blind and visually impaired community, please visit their website (www.ibwest.org), blog (www.ibwest.blogspot.com) or call 850-477-2663.
