Alicia Hefty
Alicia Hefty is the Transition Counselor for Independence for the Blind of West Florida. She is responsible for preparing the teens for life after high school, whether that means entering the work force or continuing their education. She is currently working on her Master’s in Blind Rehabilitation, Orientation and Mobility. In her free time Alicia enjoys spending time with her son, Isaiah, who brings a smile to her face each day. She also loves swimming, reading, going to the beach or park with her son, shopping, painting, and spending time with family and friends.
