Marilyn Powitzky
is has spent most of her time working for the Diabetes Consultants of
Northwest Florida since 1993. She is a
Patient
Education Coordinator, Coordinator of the Diabetest Center and Health
Education Center and Diabetes Educator. She retired from WFRMC in
2001.
Marilyn is a member of the West Florida Hospital Diabetes Advisory Committee, the Patient Care Center Diabetes Advisory Committee, the ADA Patient Advisory Committee, the ADA Annual Diabetes Walk Committee, the ADA Speaker Bureau, the Gulf Coast Association of Diabetes Educators, the national American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE), and the AADE Visually Impaired Advisory Committee. Marilyn specializes in insulin pump training and consulting and in diabetic education for the visually impaired and blind community. |
